This generator is cool on so many levels. You can add your own art assets to customize the look of your sprites any way you want. But if you don’t want to to do that, it comes with assets too! There’s a wonderful assortment of parts for females, males and children that you can mix and match to your hearts content. I will be using this for my own game as it matches the sprites I commissioned from the artist for this character generator perfectly! I love the tall sprite assets, they’re just fabulous, and the generator itself is a breeze to use! 😀 Added bonus, the creator is adding features and updates to make it even better going forward. As an indie game developer and character artist, it’s hard to find anything like this tool. The ability to layer your artwork and character sprites to quickly generate unique variations from just a handful of different parts is a huge time saver as opposed to what you’d need to do in most imaging editing programs. It works exactly as described, is fast, highly customizable and has all the extra adjustment functions you’d need to edit each layer such as color, tint, brightness, etc. It’s a great time saver. It really is an invaluable tool when having to produce large quantities of art/sprite variations in an fraction of the time as opposed to any of the alternatives.
