About A Universal Time:
It’s also slowly getting unplayable, with DLC content getting less and less thought out, and game breaking bugs not getting fixed despite the community begging for it. Paradox DLC policy has become a meme, but in EU4 it’s no longer about not wanting to spend 200€ for the DLCs on sale. It’s about there being too many poorly implemented DLC features all stacking over each other. What this game needs is a break from DLC spam and the devs polishing what they have now, but we all know that’s not happening so I’d recommend just waiting for the Victoria 3. Best grand strategy game. Very historical and encourages you to learn more about the various regions and history. Might be difficult in the beginning, but if you follow the tutorials and learn the mechanics it all becomes clear. Very fun and encourages you to role play a bit as the nation you’re playing and change the course of history (especially when you do stuff like invading europe as the native americans or going on a rampage as the pope). Definitely recommend if you’re in to history and strategy games. The DLCs really enhance the gameplay although I recommend buying them on sale because they’re quite expensive. You can carry out any political/historical scenario you can imagine through a combination of DLC, mods, and Custom Nations. Ever wondered what it would be like if a raging Horde of “Trashmen” invaded Europe? Take a dive and find out! That’s the most fun part for me.
