About Ace Attorney:
Ace Combat 7 is a game about melodramatic fighter pilots, conspiracies, the moral implications of drone warfare, and staying conscious at levels of G-Force that logically should probably make your brain leak out of your ears. If that sounds intriguing, read on. After playing Project Wingman (An excellent title I cannot recommend enough) for the first time, I decided to explore the Ace Combat series in greater depth, having previously only played Assault Horizon, the oft-discussed black sheep entry of the series. Since that time I have played the Playstation 2 “Holy Trinity“, and now this most recent, multiplatform entry. For those unfamiliar, Ace Combat is set in the constructed world of “Strangereal”, and the name says it all: A world not unlike ours, with a patchwork of nations and an equivalent level of technology… with very specific exceptions. While the people of Strangereal are far more vahemently opposed to the construction and use of nuclear weapons then us, a deadly asteroid impact only a few decades prior to the events of the series prompted accelerated development of alternative superweapons in the interest of repelling future impacts. Many of these form the basis for the spectacle-inducing boss fights that, together with its relatively lax physics and hyperspace ammunition pools, set Ace Combat apart from more realism-focused flight sims of yesteryear, like the Jane’s series. you enjoy arcade air combat, AC7 is worth a look, especially at the steep discounts it typically gets during sales. just be aware that its not exactly a casual experience and I wouldn’t worry about playing it a lower difficulty then you are accustomed to.
