About AU Reborn:
I grew up playing the Original Deemo on my first smartphone, and it was introduced me to the world of rhythm games (specifically Japanese rhythm games). I had only found out about this game today and realised you can play it in VR. So I immediately picked it up.What a nostalgic journey I’ve had so far! If you’ve played the original Deemo, then chances are you’ll definitely enjoy this. However, that being said, if you already own the game on smartphone or switch, and don’t have a VR headset, and only enjoyed Deemo for its rhythm game play, Id say wait for a sale. The original Deemo still holds up and plays really well. The camera would occasionally snap to different angles during cut scenes instead of fading out and in, which made me get kind of a whiplash effect as i wasn’t expecting it I wish there was a way to either rotate the hands or remove them for balls of light or something while playing the game, I want hold my hands flat as if i was playing a piano but the hands on the display are flat when my hands IRL are holding the controls upright, so it feels as if i’m smashing the piano instead of rolling my hand along it. It’s kind of hard to explain. You can hold your hands flat and the games doesn’t penalise you, but the hands just make it look strange and it gets distracting.
