Feeling lost and alone, she is approached by two mysterious girls who give her the power to become a Reflector, a magical warrior who can harness the power of emotions. Hinako soon discovers that she is not the only one with these powers, as she meets other girls from her school who have also been chosen to become Reflectors. In battle mode, the player takes control of one of the girls and fights against the Sephira. The battles are turn-based and involve strategic use of the girls’ unique abilities and special attacks.

As the story progresses, the girls must balance their school life with their duties as Reflectors, battling against the Sephira, a group of malevolent creatures that threaten the world. The girls also face personal struggles, as they deal with their own emotions and try to overcome their past traumas. Blue Reflection features an open world environment that the player can freely explore. The game is split into two main modes: school life and battle mode. In school life mode, the player can interact with the other girls and participate in various activities, such as attending classes, going shopping, and even going on dates.
