About Breaking Point:
You have to match chemical elements that appear in the bottom of your screen. You see 4 views of the puzzle, the front, back and the sides. You can make moves in each of the 4 views. It is very addictive and before you know it hours will have past. The game has various soundtracks and is very relaxing also, there is one song that I kept on humming to while playing. If you don’t like a song you can simply skip it in the top right. When you are stuck on moves you can press the shuffle button in the top which shuffles all the elements. Usually you get some more chains when you shuffle. I really enjoy this game and play it casually especially when I’m stressed. It is super satisfying when you get a long chain going… plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, loving those sound effects! Breaking good is not a bad game, but it’s just not good, either. It’s a relatively straightforward match 3 game with some interesting mechanics in that you view the play area as a three dimension cylinder from 4 different angles. For core mechanics, you drag left-right to move an entire row of pieces, or swap one up or one down. You match different combinations of 3+ pairs of singular elements to create more complex compounds. There are quite a few achievements, but getting many of them is purely a grind. The required special compounds for some achievements are purely random, and playing for hours and hours gives no guarantee of grabbing them.
