About Bubble Gum Simulator:
This game on the surface seems very repetative, but it satisfies the bubble wrap popper in me. I also feel I found a story in it, that may not actually be there. It feels as if its a story about sensory overload and neurodivergency/anxiety. The character is overwhelmed by noise, overwhelmed by the things around them. They may not make sense to a lot of people (ie. the birds being to loud), but to them, its too loud. Even if I am reading into it too much, the game is still a fun short experience, allowing myself to satisfy my inner bubble wrap popper. If you have the time, i’d suggest giving it a shot. It’s short cute and there are many ways to interoperate what is happening throughout the game and honestly you don’t even need to pay attention to anything and go throughout popping away with no thought and its nice. also after you finish go back to it there are some things that don’t automatically play during the story line and add more plot.I guess the first levels where you actually had to seek the items you have to pop were somewhat relaxing, but most levels after that are just tedious pointing around with no challenge. Also you have to pop cute ducks and frogs.Bubble People is has a really simple mechanic which leads the player through a well-told, yet wordless story. I would recommend this game if the graphics entice you and if you like popping bubbles… or, well, digital bubbles.
