Overview Chinese Train Trip:
First-person exploration. Genre: adventure. Train travel in and around China. In the game, you can walk around the free world, buy tickets, souvenirs, ride a train, get off at stations, and much more. I found a train ticket and got on a random train to 1 town and then bought a ticket to another town and got on another random train it told me the quest was complete when i got to the second town. as far as i could tell there was nothing else to do and I coudnt go anywhere else. I have no idea what i just played or what is happening. Kind of difficult, but I really love that the bosses are technically short. They usually take a single hit, sometimes two. The bosses last a little bit since you’ll die a few times, but a winning battle is usually around 10 to 30 seconds long while the rest of the time comes from dying over and over while you try to figure out how to beat the boss. Something that really bugged me was having to walk back to the boss after dying Shame that the game physically feels like said wall-to-head bashing at times. There’s a large amount of screen shake and every boss kill rewards you with pure, blinding white with loud ambiance noise; neither of these can be turned off, neither of these had any warning at all, and I can see this being a barrier to anyone who’s epileptic and might actually suffer immediate and possibly lethal health issues from these aesthetic choices. I was enjoying my time, but the game’s video choice is very literally painful to me and forced me to put it down almost as fast as I had begun playing.
