Overview Code:29:
This is a single shooter game, there is a first-person perspective and third-person perspective. You will play a soldier from a laboratory on a rescue mission in a city full of mutants. And find out why the whole story is true. In July 2025, a serious nuclear leak occurred in JH city, and the government ordered the quarantine of the area. In September 2025, you are sent to JH City on Mission 29 to investigate and rescue a doctor from the UPC, but the residents there have undergone some kind of mutation and become insane. Damaged buildings, scattered army equipment, and what seems to be hiding in the darkness. You look at the smoke-filled nuclear power plant in the distance, and it doesn’t seem so simple. Who’s lying? in a contest with Hollow Knight: I would ultimately choose the latter as my favorite of the two, but I would still feel guilty of choosing it since Unsighted shined in so much ways. It does have his flaws & some things could have been better polished, but damn.

The time-dependency mechanic on the characters, including the player, really leads to a sense of urgency when playing the game. You’re constantly trying to find items to extend their lifespan, but it’s never in enough supply to save everyone – especially since you need to save yourself. I really enjoyed this, honestly, as it made me think hard about which NPCs I wanted to save and how far down I would let my time go to extend the lives of others. As an experienced Metroidvania player, I managed to get away with only a handful of deaths, but this could easily spiral out of control for newer players. The game is also insanely sequence-breakable, on the level of Rabi-Ribi. It downright expects you to crack it open, and really lets you explore freely if you’re clever enough.
