One day you were kidnapped by a psycho named Freek, and forced into a secret underground facility to take part in a deadly reality show. The rules are simple: be the last one to survive. Meanwhile, thousands, if not millions, of people watch in real time and bid on who will win. ‘Here I Come’ is an atmospheric horror game in which learning when to hide or run are key factors to survive. It is a game where the story makes you sad, you put yourself in the place of the characters, and most importantly, you think and feel like them. Although the gameplay is different, you always feel that siblings should help each other. I don’t have a brother or sister, even though I am an only child, I always felt this situation while playing the game. In addition, after the producers made this game, they created the footsteps of a masterpiece called A Way Out exactly from this game. Though it has no legible dialog, Brothers still manages to convey a lot of nuance. The two characters—you play them simultaneously as this is a single-player game—have individuality and personality and it’s wonderful to see how they respond differently to situations. You’ll want to try to get them to interact with everything and everybody just to see what happens. The control scheme is at once intuitive, confusing, and pleasurable. It feels like dancing when you get it right and manage to have the two characters behave as you think they should. And the price of failure is minimal, as you immediately get to retry the same action.
