About Nations:
NATIONS a fun filled action packed rts with personality. Very STARCRAFT in looks and game play with plenty of voice acting included. Has in-depth base building with many structures from mining to research and combat available. Units come with individual skills which can be activated during different situations so it is not just a click n mob rush fest. A very well done non-frustrating tutorial is available to explain some of the finer aspects. Music fits in perfectly with the setting creating a stress free gaming mindset that is not distracting. Skirmish is also available for endless replay once the main campaign has been thoroughly played. Graphics are enjoyable with detailed comic book imagery one might find from an exceptional 1970’s STARS WARS comic book during in between mission screens. NATIONS, BUY IT! PLAY IT! Feel the power of commanding your very own HUMONGOUS SPACE FLEET!!! blasting all who dare stand against you into non-existent NOTHINGNESS! Casual difficulty is so hard the game seems basically unplayable. To put this in perspective, I can beat starcraft 2 on normal without a problem, but this game only has 2 settings. Casual which is much harder than starcraft 2 normal, and hard. Also, some of the units are poorly designed. You get hero ships that are slightly better than a normal version of that unit, but only slightly. If you lose them, you auto-fail the missions. So they’re super easy for the computer to destroy and cause you to auto-fail. They end up sitting in your base doing nothing because if you try to use them, you fail the mission.
