About Rise Of Nations:
Rise of Nations is probably one of the top 5 RTS out there today and still with decent amount of changes you can do in the Workshop area. You can set the games to how you want to play the game. It’s not as smooth as Starcraft II when it comes to unit movement, AI, or pathways, but considering the release date of the game – it is very impressive. Outside of Steam, I had the disk when it first come out, but now I can cloud the information on Steam, so it was worth buying the product twice. The game is pretty old school in terms of UI and Visual . I wish they remake or remodel like the Age of empires DE. Am pretty much into various RTS games , this game has good mechanics and can be played in different styles. A solid RTS game , enjoyable and good time killer My only wish would be to bring the game up to today’s standards of graphics, AI, troop movement, etc. However, I do not want them to change how the game is played or the unique balance that the main game brings – just the overall quality. The current balance of the game makes each match different and changes the strategies depending on which nation you play, the nation of the opponent, map type, rare resources, etc., so changing that would bring the game down a notch, if it was to change. As a side note, I love the music and find myself humming it some days when I look forward to another round against the computer, friends, or family.
