About SkyWars:
This simplistic 3D platformer took me half an hour to complete, so keep that in mind if you are thinking of buying. It really feels like it could be expanded nicely to make a more complete game, but as it stands it feels more like a demo. The physics feel a little frustrating, but that is probably due to the plain, single-colour background which gives you no point of reference or feeling of movement if there aren’t any background objects in your field of view when you are moving. I would recommend this game if it were bigger. A bunch more levels with some interesting physical mechanics seem well within the capability of the engine so it surprises me this is so short. The only attraction as it stands is to replay the levels to see if you can do a perfect run, but the jumping isn’t fun enough to make that more than a chore. This game is screaming for more “juice”. skywalk is an incredible game with very very very few flaws. from what ive played which is a few hours ive determined 2 issues. one small and one large. first off. the small issue. edges are very finicky. they are super harsh and a jump that lands near the edge wont make it. one fix would be adding a step up mechanic that lets you up onto platforms if you smash your ankles into the edge. the second and large issue is the inability to change your resolution. this doesnt seem like a huge issue but it stops me from recording the game which stops me from speedrunning it which is something i very much want to do. other than that i have not found anything else to complain about in skywalk. very fun game. 10/10 would recommend.
