Steel Rats features fast-paced, action-packed gameplay that combines racing, platforming, and combat. The game is played from a 2.5D side-scrolling perspective, with the bikers racing through the streets of Coastal City, leaping over obstacles, and battling waves of robots. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter a variety of enemies, including drones, tanks, and even gigantic boss robots. You’ll need to use your biker’s unique abilities to take them down, such as the ability to launch a grappling hook to swing around the city or shoot powerful energy blasts from your bike’s exhaust pipe.
Steel Rats Pre-Installed:
In addition to battling the robotic hordes, you’ll also need to navigate through the city’s treacherous terrain, including jumping over gaps and avoiding obstacles. The game also features a variety of puzzles that you’ll need to solve to progress through the game’s levels. As you progress through the game, you’ll earn points that can be used to upgrade your biker’s motorcycles. You can upgrade various aspects of your bike, including its engine, brakes, and weapons. Upgrading your bike will make it faster and more powerful, making it easier to take on the game’s more challenging enemies. However, Ride is more focused on traditional motorcycle racing, with a variety of different tracks and races to compete in.
