About THIEF LIFE Simulator:
This is hard one. It’s a blast of a game, but the CONSTANT bugs really hold it back. I’ve played for 8 hours and encountered two game-breaking bugs already, which required console commands to fix. You regularly get stuck on nothing, miss what you’re trying to pick up, and have objects simply disappear. Most frustrating is that your inventory gets seemingly-randomized every hour or so, so when you break in, you realize the tool has either disappeared (meaning you have to buy another one) or it’s been put in your car. Things in the house randomly decide to error out – not a big deal for certain things, but having a car gate not work or the security panel randomly decide to call the cops really breaks your enjoyment. SO – while the game is GREAT, you have to know what you’re getting into. If you’re wanting something to make you feel immersed, skip it.I do not recommend, thief simulator is a really good game, but the VR edition feels really crappy and rushed. I understand VR ports are complicated, but it feels really stupid that the VR game and the base game are separate. I was softlocked as it’s telling me to pick up a crowbar from a table, yet I already have the crowbar. There is no crowbar to pick up, making this task impossible. And all other tasks are locked until then. No refund can be made as it happened 5 hours in.
