About Thief Simulator:
I have a very mixed opinion on this game.there seems to be a very solid base, however for me personally it left a bad taste in my mouth, as it was plagued with a vast amount of glitches. Glitches that would have cops randomly clip through walls, or people tazing you through walls. Sometimes cops would never stop searching, leaving you trapped inside the house, and forcing you to either get caught, or restart from your last checkpoint. Sometimes your car will randomly get towed, even though it was perfectly in the parking spot, forcing you to restart from the last checkpoint. Another glitch that would happen quite frequently is when you are hiding, and even though no one saw you go into your hiding spot, you will have either a guard, or cop randomly taze you even though they shouldn’t even know where you are. Another glitch that happened frequently was after I was spotted by a camera I would go hide, and the guards would run, and stop right in front of where I was hiding, then randomly after a minute or two taze me. All these glitches happened numerous times during my playthrough, and made the game quite frustrating at times. I won’t spoil the story, however I think it is worth mentioning the story as well. The story is pretty generic, and isn’t anything you will remember at all, period. Also the final act feels way longer, then it should and clearly overstays its welcome. However I don’t want you to think I absolutely hated this game. There are a lot of positives as well. Going to new houses, and scoping them out, figuring out tenants’ daily routines was fun. Planning around those daily routines, to pick perfect times to infiltrate their house, and take all their expensive goods was certainly entertaining, and a great part about the game.
