About Washiez:
Before I get started. I totally recommend this DLC just on the strength of the track, scenery work, and the amount of Loco content, even though it’s just stuff we’ve already been given in some form or another. We’ve got to thank the the guy behind the Track work, Brandon Phelan AKA CactusJuice. With his involvement, you’re going to get some level of quality in the product. My biggest gripe, is the mileage. Look, I understand route building can be an arduous task, and building a route that is hundreds of miles can be a herculean effort. However, when you consider the amount of experience this company had with building routes, and having just received a 113 mile route that is the WCML South recently. Aside from the fact that is something within their respective territories, one can’t help but to think there’s some level of favoritism at play here. I mean, the route is only one of many that has been heavily sought after. After number of failed and missed opportunities by the community members. We get something piecemeal. Once again, what we did get is well done. Just feel as an american consumer, we tend to get treated like red-headed step children. Hudson route, done the same way. But, thankfully on that end, someone gave us an extension to Albany via the workshop. Morristown, done the same way, although that was add-on/extension to what was previously given in the NJCL, a branch line that was actually done in full length, something rarely given by DTG these days.
